ACTIVE TORQUE CONTROL AWD SYSTEM

Acadia AT4 has an Active Torque Control AWD system that improves traction when needed by sending torque from front to back and also side in the rear of the vehicle.

AT4-EXCLUSIVE TERRAIN MODE

The Traction Select System offers Terrain Mode to help traverse rough roads at low speeds. In Terrain Mode, Acadia AT4 shifts automatically in order to keep the vehicle at a slow, crawling speed for rough terrain. It emulates the low gear range of a 2-speed transfer case that some 4WD trucks are equipped with.

TRACTION SELECT SYSTEM

Acadia's Traction Select System allows you to switch from up to seven available drive modes to tailor your ride to differing conditions.

Available drive modes include:

• AWD: Normal, Sport, Snow, Off-Road, AWD and Tow/Haul (when equipped)
• AT4: Normal, Sport, Snow, Terrain, Off-Road, AWD and Tow/Haul (when equipped)

OFF-ROAD-TUNED SUSPENSION

Helping earn the title of most capable Acadia AT4 ever is an exclusive off-road-tuned suspension. An elevated ride height, front and underbody skid plates and all-terrain tires also help you carve out your own roads.

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning uses a brief steering wheel turn to alert you when it detects you are unintentionally drifting out of your lane lines. If needed, you may receive additional Lane Departure Warning alerts. System alerts do not occur if you’re using your turn signal, or it detects you may be intentionally leaving your lane.

BLIND ZONE STEERING ASSIST

Blind Zone Steering Assist can alert you and provide a brief, firm turn of the steering wheel when a potential crash is detected with a moving vehicle in the lane you’re entering.

ENHANCED AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

At speeds above 3 km/h, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a detected vehicle you're following. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver's hard braking.

REAR PARK ASSIST

When in reverse, Rear Park Assist provides alerts of nearby detected vehicles and objects behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST BRAKING

At speeds between 8 and 80 km/h, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a pedestrian or bicyclist it detects directly in front of you. It provides alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. It has limited nighttime and low-visibility performance.
